Alex’s benefit year is preparing for one of its biggest events – a black tie dinner at the wonderful Stowell Park next month.

Alex's benefit year was kicked off in style with two fantastic launch events at the Bristol Hotel and the Old Brewery in London.
Gido's benefit year was launched at a gala dinner at the Bristol Hotel on Thursday, 23 February featuring two greats from the world of cricket and rugby. Marcus Trescothick, a 2005 Ashes winner, was joined by Rugby World Cup winner Phil Vickery for a great evening of sporting entertainment. Hosted by the hilarious David Trick the evening was a resounding success.
A further London event followed at the Old Brewery, Greenwich with former England legend Angus Fraser being put through his paces by the inestimable Roger Dakin whilst guests savoured a range of quality beers.

Together with the rest of the Benefit Committee we have worked hard to put together a host of great events during 2012 which we hope will ensure all involved have an exciting, enjoyable and productive year, not least in raising much needed funds for both of Alex’s chosen charities, the Lord’s Taverners and the Pied Piper Appeal.
